Sheekra(Working Sea) Oct

Species: Soona. They are an amphibious species that is known for their intelligence and adaptability. Much of their planetary income comes from tourism. They are very conscious of the environment(Sometimes to the annoyance of some of their visitors). Most of their technology, while still very advanced, looks very primitive. It is important for all that they use to fit in the environment as much as it can but this is slowly falling out of popularity due to the difficulty of having it decorated and still have it done quickly. Most of the population lives in caves but some are known to live in treetop houses or even completely underwater. They can eat most normal things(nothing universally poisonous or toxic). While smart they are awful fighters unassisted.

Country/Planet/Home: planet: Siktroi. A mostly tropical planet except at the poles. The shape of the flag is to represent a cave. The blue is for the ocean and the corners are islands. The orange is for wealth. From the island Kraoon.

Reason for entering: Copper. Recently the Soona's natural predators, the Crakee, have gotten more aggressive and are breaking into their caves. They usually have them mostly under control but the defenses are getting overpowered. They want to use copper to make barriers due to the Crakee tending to avoid it and most things on Siktroi are negatively affected by copper anyway. There isn't a lot on Siktroi and it would take a lot of money and time to get it all shipped.

Name: Sheekra (Working Sea)

Alias/Nickname: Tinker. They feel like it is better than the direct translation of their name and some can't pronounce its real name.

Age:49 Siktroi years(1 earth year = .8 Siktroi years) Young Adult

Height/Weight: 48 cm. 8400 g.

Gender: They are male but the Soona don't have gendered pronouns so they will respond to anything but prefers them/they/it or better off using the traditional Soona terms soo(objective/nominative) / sooes(possessive)

Strengths: 
1.Great swimmer: Can speed up to the max speed 95 km/h in about a minute and the average speed is 20 km/h.
2.Fast: Can run up to 80 km/h for 10-15 second but will be very tired afterward.
3.Can see in the dark
4.Intelligent

Abilities: They have tentacle appendages above their eyes that can grow up to 5 meters or shrink all the way into their head and can change the texture. With enough training, Soona can get them to form blades and points. Sheekra is very skilled at changing the texture but can't quite get them to get to form blades.

Weaknesses:
1.Weak: can't lift more than 3500 g without assistance.
2.Bad hearing: can't hear anything under 50 dB.
3.Cold sensitivity: will be extremely uncomfortable at temperatures under 15C and can slowly die at anything under -5C without any protection.
4.Can dry out: While not deadly if they don't have water on them for a certain amount of time(dry air 30 seconds, normal humidity 3 minutes, humid N/A)they can get very sluggish and sick.
5. Weak point: if their nose is hit they can be sent into crippling pain for a few seconds
6. Light sensitivity: Bright lights can blind them for at least a minute.

History: Back on Kraoon Tinker worked on the food traps while in school. Soo also works at one of the intergalactic resorts with one of sooes parents. Sheekra was chosen for the competition for getting the highest score on a planetary test/competition. They already knew a lot about many different species from the working on the resort and personal curiosity and already was very adaptable. This greatly made up for their poor athletic score. They really want the copper because many of the people they know have been attacked but they also hope this can at least increase tourism so that the copper can just be bought. He might also want some attention.


Personality: tends to stay to themselves. Likes to learn new things especially about other species. Takes pride in their intelligence and don't like to be outsmarted or seen making a mistake. Highly values friends&family and personal traditions(even when they don't always show it.)

Likes: swimming, learning, fish(favorite food), friends, family, music

Dislikes: people he deems as idiots, embarrassment, being called arrogant, recklessness, people who don't care for the environment, passive-aggressiveness

Other:
1. The Soona's skin is similar to a snake's
2. The Soona have a mild copper allergy where if it gets under the skin they get a rash and if it is ingested will cause stomach cramps
3. Blood is the usual red.
4. They can't see the color green, instead just shades of blue
5. Their front teeth are similar to cat's but a little bit longer. The back is like a human's. The inside of their mouths is a light purple and females have dark lines running from the back to the front of the mouth.
